The project of the journal «European Fencing: People, Facts & Events» was created to draw attention of historians and lovers of fencing to create a common literary and historical information and creative platform dedicated to European Historical Fencing, prompting the literary and scientific work of activists, clubs and schools with scientific and practical experience in the study of European Historical Fencing Art, as well as anyone wanting to try their hand in the literary and journalistic work.

Writing articles.
The volume of articles is actually unlimited. The main condition — the compatibility with literary and historical subjects of the journal in the context of past and present of Historical European Martial Arts. Journal entry can be written in one of three genres: informational, journalistic or journalistic analysis.
Information genre — note, interview, report, reporting — brings together event-an occasion to speak. They tend to operate on a simple, primary information and are hot on the trail of the event. Therefore, their main goal — to promptly report the fact, event, phenomenon. Among the defining characteristics of information genres, above all, stands out novelty.
Journalistic genre — sketch, talk, confession, essays, satires, pamphlets, parodies, epigram, journalistic tale, journalistic story — peculiar imagery, typing, emotional expressiveness and richness of literary and artistic graphic means, linguistic and stylistic features. They are specific, documented fact as it fades into the background, for the author is more important than the ability to rise above the phenomenon of the fact.
Analytical genre — article, correspondence, version, comment, investigative journalism, an open letter, display, press review, the review — combines in-depth study of living and a comprehensive analysis of the facts. When creating these materials journalist analyzes, synthesis of social reality, dissecting the phenomenon under study into its parts, examining them in detail, separating the important from the unimportant, important from the secondary, and then drawing conclusions, generalizations and recommendations.
Each publication in the beginning and at the end, followed by information about the author or authors of the publication. The article also mentions the source and the date of first publication of the article. All articles, while providing relevant information by the authors, will be accompanied by a photo and brief information about the author or authors.
